Our soaps are produced using oils and butters that are known to nourish the skin.
Commercially made 'soaps' are made the same way, but the naturally occurring glycerin is
removed to be sold as a byproduct for use in cosmetics, etc. They then add bubbling detergents, chemicals and additives that are unnatural and strip your skin of it's natural oils. Glycerin is a humectant and an emollient that naturally draws moisture to your skin.
Handmade soaps retain this naturally occurring glycerin that moisturizes your skin.
A lot of our customers find that they have significantly reduced the amount of lotion they use when they start using our handcrafted soap.
